Collective monograph "Personal History of Orthodoxy: the fate of the Church and believers in the modern history of Russia". Smolensk, 2021.

In March 2021 the publishing house of Smolensk State University issued a collective monograph by well-known Russian researchers of confessional history on the topic "Personal History of Orthodoxy: the fate of the Church and believers in the modern history of Russia", prepared with the active participation of Professor of the ROSI Department of Humanities Aleksandr Apanasenok.

The publication is devoted to the analysis of the situation of believers and the Orthodox Church in the modern history of Russia. The events of the "great history", the change of several epochs and political regimes, of course, reflected on believers and the very forms of confession and practices of religious organizations. The research focus of the book is deliberately shifting to personal history - the biographies of believers of various epochs and trends in Orthodoxy. The authors hope that the publication will be interesting to historians of Orthodoxy and all those interested in Russian Orthodoxy of the twentieth century.
